Tin Can Tourists

June 4-10, 2006

The Tin Can Tourists (http://www.tincantourists.com) is an all make and model vintage trailer and motor coach club, whose goal is to promote and preserve vintage trailers and motor coaches through gatherings and information exchange.

In 2006, the club was honored by the six-state National Road Alliance in being selected to participate in the Historic National Road’s Bicentennial celebration of the signing of the legislation authorizing the Road’s construction. Thirty vintage trailers and motor coaches were chosen to travel the Road from June 4-10, 2006 from the first National Road mile marker in Cumberland, Maryland, on through Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana to the Road’s original terminus in Vandalia, Illinois.

These photographs were taken in Columbus, Ohio.
